 Categories of Membership

 

Active

Voting

Active membership is granted to an individual after completing new member orientation training. Requirements include participating in and supporting the Chapter's resource development, philanthropic and fundraising activities and attendance at the monthly Chapter meeting.

 

Associate

NonVoting

CHAPTER ASSOCIATE: A member who helps with administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, public relations, property management, etc.


THRIFT SHOP ASSOCIATE: A member who helps in the Thrift Shop price marking, sorting, pressing, and washing clothes or working in the store at the cash register.


SERVICE ASSOCIATE: A member who works on one of the Chapter projects such as ABC, Kiddie Closet, OPERATION SCHOOL BELLŽ, Social Services Directory or Hug-a-Bear.


PART-TIME ASSOCIATE: A member who lives in Flagstaff 6 months or less during the year and would like to volunteer their time while here.


PAL - PARTNERS OF ASSISTANCE LEAGUEŽ: Husbands, relatives or friends who help out on an occasional basis.


COMMUNITY ASSOCIATE: Members who support resource development, philanthropic projects and fundraising activities. Attendance at the monthly meeting is optional.

 

Do you want to help your community? ASSISTANCE LEAGUE of Flagstaff has many membership categories that will fit your need and interest.

 

Sustaining Members who have completed a minimum of eight years of active membership. The Board grants sustaining membership. Attendance at meetings, projects and fundraising events is optional.

 

Auxiliary Members unable to attend day time meetings may join Alpine Auxiliary.  This group meets monthly in the evenings and administers Hug-a-Bear and Assault Survivor Kits projects.
